4.5 stars. The food is incredibly flavorful and delicious. Tender, juicy jerk chicken. Perfectly seasoned curry chicken. Greens, rice, Mac n cheese, brown stew chicken, spicy pork, succulent ribs, candied sweet potatoes, fried chicken and fish, plantains, and several dishes I didn't even have a chance to try because my first plate was so good, I got seconds. The Chicken soup tasted magical like it would heal you of anything that ailed you. I deducted 1/2 star for a small freshness issue with the first dessert we tried. However, the courteous staff immediately took care of it and replaced it with another. And so the review still is 5 stars. It's 18 per person for buffet and doesn't include oxtail but does include soda or tea. So many times when we spend 20 or so per person it's disappointing because it's food that we could make better at home. Not this. This is worth it and we will definitely be back.
Didn't know if I'd like it bc I'm not one for spicy food. Its 17.99 per person. They have a wide variety of meat, rice and vegetables. I sampled a little of everything and it was all delicious and well seasoned. The desserts are to die for! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!
Hidden Gem in Clarksville! A Must-Try Caribbean Feast at JamRok My husband and I recently discovered JamRok, an all-you-can-eat Caribbean restaurant in Clarksville, TN, and let me tell you this place is an absolute game-changer. We've been to countless restaurants over the years literally millions but JamRok stands out as the best dining experience we've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The decor gives you tropical island vibes, and the music playlist was perfectly curated, setting the mood with smooth R&B, classics , and Caribbean classics that made you want to dance in your seat. Now let’s talk about the food because wow. Everything was fresh, tender, and seasoned to perfection. We tried every single dish, from jerk chicken, and curry goat to rice and peas, fried plantains, and yams . Each bite was full of flavor and cooked with authentic Caribbean soul. You could tell the chefs take pride in their heritage and put love into every dish. But the real surprise? The banana pudding. Hands down, the best we've ever tasted. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Other things worth knowing if you're trying a new spot: * Pricing: Super reasonable for an all-you-can-eat experience with high-quality food. You’re definitely getting more than your money’s worth. * Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made us feel like family. * Perfect for date night or group outings: Whether you're going on a romantic night out or celebrating with friends, JamRok is a great spot with a fun, laid-back vibe. Pro tip: Go hungry. You’ll want to try everything and then go back for seconds (or thirds). JamRok is more than just a restaurant it’s a whole experience. If you're in or around Clarksville, do yourself a favor and check it out. This place deserves to be known far and wide!
This was mine and my husbands first visit. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in the door. I was very inquisitive, they answered all of my questions. We decided to do the buffet. You pay BEFORE you eat (same as Golden Corral)I love how they encourage you to wash your hands at the handwashing station before you go to the buffet. I wasnt sure what to get because I'm not familiar with jamaican food. Giovanni did a really good job trying to help me decide. Everything was nicely labeled. Everything I chose was nice and hot. My favorite was the "steamed cabbage". It was flavored very nicely. Definitely enjoyed the music. The place was very nice and clean. *update* I took my parents here for their 35th anniversary and let me tell you...FERNANDA was an AMAZING hostess . The food was as usual on point. Perfectly seasoned. The music was very much enjoyed. I will definitely continue to come back with service and food this good. Keep up the good work guys!!!
Exceptional Caribbean Restaurant – A Must-Visit! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The restaurant was spotless — clean, neat, and clearly cared for. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were absolutely top-notch — attentive, respectful, and genuinely kind. Their professionalism and friendly attitude made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Now, let’s talk about the food — amazing doesn’t even begin to cover it. It was a buffet-style setup, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked with love. There was a great variety, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. Whether you’re new to Jamaican cuisine or a longtime fan, this place delivers big time. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly spot with delicious Jamaican food and outstanding service, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back — and bringing friends with me!
Amazing jerk, chicken oxtails, great and they have huge pieces. The greens and the collard greens were really good. The rice was moist. I had 3 different types of rice, the yellow rice, the rice and peas. And this some other type of rice and then I had the roasted pork and my wife had the, neckbones bones with butter beans and dumplings and it's stewed chicken, delicious
Wow!! I've finally found a place with fantastic caribbean food that is hot, fresh, and FLAVORFUL!! Best of all it's a buffet! I really like that they ask people to pay first and then stop at the hand wash station before entering the buffet. The buffet price comes with a fountain soda of choice. Really enjoyed their jerk chicken, cabbage, candied yams, rasta pasta, and plantains as my top dishes. Oxtail is not included in the buffet but is available - you scoop out what you want onto a separate container which gets weighed and priced accordingly. I paid for 2 pieces and the oxtail was super tender and flavorful. For dessert they had some fruits and a couple of cake options as well as banana pudding. I had their soft serve ice cream which was vanilla, vanilla/strawberry mix, or strawberry. If I could change something, I wish they had small bowls for the ice cream and not only the cones. Definitely come here for delicious food and come hungry! You won't be disappointed.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING !! Amazing Food Amazing Staff and just amazing Atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and well kept. We ordered food to go so we were able to sample a lot of the different options. Highly recommend and I will be going back.
